I have found that creating fine art photographs of the natural world allows me to help people see things that they may not ordinarily see for themselves. My goal isn't to show you everything, but to isolate something specific for you to see through my eyes. Some have referred to this as bringing order out of chaos. This process requires both personal vision and technical mastery, but the end result is an image that "speaks" to the viewer's emotions.

Although I have recently ventured into Architectural Photographs in my series on Gothic Cathedrals, the subject matter that most moves me is the natural landscape. I treasure all the time I have spent exploring, photographing and meditating in America's wild places where beauty abounds in both grand scenic as well as intimate presence. I continue to be inspired, renewed and refreshed by this connection with creation.

Art celebrates beauty, both for it's very existence as well as for our ability to recognize and appreciate it. For me, beauty speaks of goodness.
